Highway 163 looked like a parking lot on the way in and was a replica of what could be expected at Balboa park as this event drew tons of San Diegans out of their homes to enjoy the beautiful day. With crowds expecting to be in the upper 60-70,000 visitors. Team SchuCo got lucky with a front row parking spot that came in handy at the end of the day when feet hurt and kids were grouchy from the scorching sun and ignored nap time.

The Earth Fair in Balboa Park is the largest free annual environmental fair in the world and hosted a plethora of interesting opportunities to learn about conservation, preservation, green living and sustainable products and services. The Children's’ Activity Area featured crafts, games, face painting, storytelling, and a hands-on activities for children of all ages. Activities which were intended to educate, entertain and inspire youth, in the spirit of Earth Day. Needless to say Jaden and Jaxen had a blast!
