Bringing Jazz to La Jolla one gig at a time we are excited to share with you our visit with Miss Amelia Browning. We had the pleasure of hearing Amelia at The Hake Kitchen and Bar a few weeks ago and happy to see more performances being added to the menus of Restaurants in La Jolla, see upcoming events here.

Sam Johnson, Charlie Weller and Ed Kornhauser join Amelia forming a fabulous jazz quartet that is sure to entertain a wide range of listeners.

Classically trained at Berklee College of Music in Boston earning her degree in Professional Music it was here that Browning couldn't deny her love for performing. Having been involved with music as young as 13 she has been performing professionally for a little over ten years. Categorizing her music in the jazz and vocal genres, Browning describes her music as "current but old school".

In addition to the usual jazz standards, interpreted by many groups, this band offers creative arrangements of contemporary popular songs. Featuring a unique repertoire of contemporary popular songs by the likes of Adele, Rihanna and Beyonce.
