Referrals paid to your Referring Broker will be % of Broker’s commission received by our Recipient Broker successfully representing the buyer, seller, or both. Your split from this referral fee is determined by your own agreement with your broker.

Our 6 step process to refer a prospect who wants to buy or sell a home and get paid a referral fee as a real estate agent/broker:

1) Fill out and sign: Referral Fee Agreement from C.A.R. (California Association of Realtors) and email to tschumacher@bhhscal.com 

2) Once document is received, we will contact you within 24 hours and sign the real estate referral fee agreement and send you signed referral document via email.

3) Once we have the real estate referral fee agreement signed by both brokers, we will proceed in obtaining contact information of the prospect you are referring and establish a mutual agreement on how to work with your referral.

4) You will be updated throughout the process on a weekly basis and whenever a significant transaction takes place. If prospect goes cold then we will follow up every 4 weeks or as often as necessary and send you status updates at least once within those 4 weeks.

5) Upon entering escrow, we will clarify broker commission disbursement with the escrow company verifying % referral fee to be paid to your broker. (Keep in mind, your split on this referral fee is determined by your broker agreement).

6) At close of escrow we will notify you and give you an ETA on your commission check including sales details.
