Father's Day and Our Interesting Adventure
Marc and I found some togetherness on this gorgeous Sunday. Having lost his father this past December and prepared for a Father's Day emotional roller coaster, I knew I had to be clever and keep us busy.
Giving Marc memories that will last a lifetime but also be able to reflect on the emotion that surrounded us both. My original plan of renting a slingshot backfired as I went to hit the confirm button and that little check box that deceived me before was to make sure we had a motorcycle license...FAIL.
Note to self: For future adventures...we need to get a motorcycle license!

Summer Fling Itinerary
Date Prep: Dress casual, probably wear tennis shoes and have time during your day to freshen up dressed for your evening of fine dining.
Breakfast/Brunch at Bella Vista Social Club and Caffe
Paragliding Adventure at Torrey Pines Gliderport
Coast Cruise/People Watch
Freshen Up/Dress Up
Walk the Art Galleries in La Jolla Village (Shane Bowden)
Sunset Dinner at The Med in La V
Coffee and Dessert Optional
Goodnight
The best part about that itinerary - portions that require $$ can be substituted out for a more budget friendly date. Paragliding adventure can be swapped to romantic hike down to Black's Beach and Picnic on the shore (and if you want to get naked...go for it!) or Stay on top of the seaside cliffs and watch the gliders from viewing locations provided.
Sunset dinner at The Med can be swapped out for dinner at the Cove, bring your own wine/beer and perhaps take out from nearby Puesto, or bring your BBQ, don't forget the S'mores.
Our dinner at The Med just so happened to be one of the best dining experiences we have had this year. The perfect seating arrangement on the Terrace with panoramic ocean views and corner table made for a romantic evening. The description on their website DELIVERS!
