 What are your obstacles? Are You Prepared? Why haven't you bought a home yet? If this is your first attempt to buy a home in La Jolla, California then likely you're facing one of these obstacles:

  • Saving enough for a down payment. 
  • Needing to pay down current debt. 
  • Finding homes for sale in your price range. 
Let's look at the first obstacle. Unless you're paying cash, saving for a nice down payment to avoid a large monthly payment can seem monumental but it really isn't. Just ask yourself if you are living within your means? Secondly, if you're having trouble paying down current debt, then you need to create a debt management plan or research ways to consolidate. Your debt load should only consist of things you can't pay cash for (ie-home, car, boat) Check back later this week as I will share some achievable goals. Sometimes the slightest shift in spending habits can make all the difference..
