Team SchuCo Supports Whale View Point Project
Yesterday Marc and I had the great pleasure of meeting a new friend at one of our favorite beaches. A quick pit stop to take in all its beauty resulted in an outreach and opportunity to help the community of La Jolla.

This particular spot is one of our personal favorites where memories of crab catching with the kids, to romantic sunset dinners never fail to provide serenity and peace in one way or another. Also a popular site for tourists and weddings the beauty of this stretch of coastline is looking for some help to preserve the history of Whale View Point.

Have you heard of the Whale View Point Shoreline Enhancement Project?

Whale View Point is a stretch of one of the most beautiful shorelines in La Jolla, California. Ann Dynes, the project coordinator took us on a quick tour pointing out the benefits of this project and her vision and goals for helping keep this part of the coast restored to emphasize the "natural" setting.

Quick History:

This portion of the coastline was first identified as "Whale View Point" on the 1887 La Jolla Park Subdivision Map. Since then, travel maps and maps from the US Geological Survey, City of San Diego have used the name Whale View Point, also known as Hospital Point and Coast Boulevard Park, as a landmark.

Success thus far has been a conglomeration of the community coming together to achieve a common goal. You can read about the master plan {HERE}
