La Jolla Alta Location

The community of La Jolla Alta is unique in that it is primarily made up of Planned Residential Developments. Located on the south slope of the prominent landmark, Mount Soledad and known for its spectacular views of the ocean, bay and downtown city lights. The highlighted portions of the map to the left is the La Jolla Alta community.

Visually dramatic, the residential community of La Jolla Alta is physically defined by its steep canyons and hillsides which peaks at Mount Soledad. The preservation of resort-like features that allow residents to enjoy its natural surroundings is apparent in this community. Residents and visitors of La Jolla appreciate and relish in Mount Soledad to view the distinctive panorama of the La Jolla coastline and the expansive skyline of San Diego. The northern section of La Jolla Alta does not have ocean views, however, this quiet and private community boasts canyon views with mature landscape and peaceful nature encompass.
